Aberdeen Angus at Ballindalloch

The cattle you see today grazing in the fields of Ballindalloch Estate, hornless with hides as if polished jet black, are descended from the herd first started by Sir George Macpherson-Grant in 1860, and are now the oldest surviving bloodlines of Aberdeen Angus in the world.

Farm visits are welcomed from fellow pedigree herd enthusiasts and from those interested in bringing Ballindalloch blood into their herd.  Please get in touch with the Farm Manager, David Johnstone, through the Estate Office on enquiries@ballindallochcastle.co.uk or 01807 500 205.
